Strategic Alliances – From Stigma to Strategic Tool

The Power of We Consortium is pleased to present, for FREE:

Strategic Alliances – From Stigma to Strategic Tool

Thursday, June 3, 2010, 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Human Services Building, 5303 S Cedar St in Lansing

Building Entrance Door #3 – 2nd Floor – Conference Room A

It is time to stop being afraid of strategic alliances and their stigmas and start talking about strategic alliances, including merges, as tools. We’ll develop a common language, explore the benefits and cautions of strategic alliances, and learn about the different types, everything from shared space and/or resources up to mergers. Then panelists who have worked through some strategic alliances will share their experiences. After our keynoter and the panel, participants will get a chance to talk directly with panelists and network with other participants. This workshop is best suited for director level positions. Board members are also encouraged to attend.

A panel of local volunteer resources will be available to talk about the work that they do in the community and how your organization can connect with them.  Participants will have an opportunity for Q&A with the panel of local volunteer resources, followed by networking opportunities with panelists and other participants, and refreshments.
